Brian Coogan – Managing DirectorStanding tall at 6’4”, Brian is the heart and soul of White Dog Green Frog. He has over 20+ years of technical experience working for a number of Australia's Fortune 100 companies as a Senior Unix Administrator, including having been an instructor for both Hewlett-Packard as well as teaching university level System Administration courses. Brian has been active on the internet since it was first brought to Australia and loves making technology available and useful (from the tech nerds to the technically challenged). Brian is more than just a Managing Director to us, he is a mentor to the rest of the staff and works hard to ensure that White Dog Green Frog is a jovial upbeat environment for both staff and clients. He is an avid fan of quality science fiction of all types and a total health nut (while most of us are still in bed at 7 am, Brian is up “enjoying” a workout!). Brian loves to travel, is interested in photography, and has a passion for personal development, mentoring, and coaching while loving the occasional movie. |
Wendy McMahon - Operations ManagerThe only non-nerd on the team, Wendy lives in the outer east of Melbourne with her husband, Lachlan, and three children ages 16, 14 and 11. Wendy brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to White Dog Green Frog as she has owned a small business for 4 years and worked in the Australian Public sector for 5 years including for the Prime Minister and the Cabinet. Known as the team “can-do” person, she runs most of the business side of our operation and is the backbone of our group, keeping us all organized. Originally from Perth, Wendy learned to sail in the sparkling waters of the Recherché Archipelago in the 70s, and studied at Murdoch University in the 80s receiving BA in Politics and Sociology. Wendy at one time worked on a prawn trawler in the Gulf of Carpenteria and is a self-confessed "outstandingly good cook" (we all concur!). |
Reed Murphy - Technical Support/System AdministratorBeing a bonafide nerd, Reed is skilled in solving unusual technical problems of all sorts, and, along with Brian, acts as our second level support technician. Reed has worked on Joomla, is great at PHP, and is an all rounder in many areas including web and graphic design, system administration, forum admin, and fighting obscure technical problems. Reed, after graduating with a degree in Computer Science from RMIT, completed a summer internship with Google Sydney, then joined White Dog Green Frog. Reed has a tendency to write moderately insane Bash and PHP scripts, and shudders at the sight of Comic Sans MS and invalid HTML. |
Haleemon Woodard - Technical Support/Project Management Haleemon is our token Yank from California, having moved to Melbourne from New York where she was working for Parade Magazine. She holds a BA from The American University of Rome, an MA from St. John's University in Rome, Italy, both in International Relations; and recently graduated from RMIT where she received a MTech in Internet and Web Computing. Haleemon is an aspiring "tech nerd" and manages our mid-range web development projects. Apart from being easy to talk to, she is also competent in a number of allied fields, including SEO (Search Engine Optimization) and is an expert at helping you find the right web solution for your small business.
Haleemon is widely travelled and worked in a number of major cities around the world before falling in love with Melbourne. She loves her iPhone (valiantly defending it against her Blackberry-mad co-workers!) and is a fanatical Collingwood supporter (Go the Pies!). |
